What is Youth Group?

Youth group is an opportunity for young people in 6th-12th grade to gather with their peers in a safe environment and learn about their Catholic faith. The heart of youth group is our youth night on Sunday evenings where we gather from 6:30-8:00p.m. in Room A (Below the Rectory). Our middle and high school group meet regularly September through May.

A typical youth night will have:

Opening prayer
Game(s) or Team Building Activity
Talk or Testimony
Small Group Discussion
Challenge
Closing Prayer
Snack

Every youth night is different as we also try to include different elements: praise & worship music, service opportunities, social events, etc.

Youth night topics can include: liturgical season (Advent, Christmas, Lent), current issues, Catholic teaching, how to defend your faith, how to pray, the lives of the saints, faith application, etc.
